Remodeling and Retrofitting: 1st St. Project
City Design performed a full gut rehab of an abandoned, vandalized residence that had not been lived in for 15 years. Our challenge was to restore the exterior to its stately 19th century beauty, while providing top of the line modern design amenities for the interior. During construction, we excavated a new basement level (2 bedroom apartment), created a new 4th floor loft, built 4 bedrooms on the main levels, installed a new back deck and privacy fence, and created a front Japanese rock garden.
